Alicia Keys covers the April/May issue of Vibe magazine. In the article she opens up about her relationship with husband Swizz Beatz.
It’s probably not a coincidence that Alicia Keys and her husband, Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean, are wearing matching pants. His: expertly tailored and trim, skimming his sneakers just so. Hers: a sexy waxed denim that hugs her in all the right places. Both are the color of a well-made cappuccino. They’ve agreed to be interviewed together over dinner, a double date of sorts. It’s one of those novel ideas cooked up by magazine editors, but Keys, who seems more open now than she’s ever been, was keen to participate. And what better way to convey closeness than with his-and-her trousers.
Meek Mill finally gets to release the remix to his summertime anthem “I’m A Boss’. The remix features an all star line up of MC’s. I wouldn’t mind hearing Jadakiss and Fabolous do some damage to this beat.
All of you DJ’s better watch out because there is a new sheriff in town. Swizz Beatz recently introduced his wife’s new alter ego. Alicia Keys will now be known as DJ AK-47. Check the video as AK drops some tunes on a crowd while being hyped up by her husband and Busta Rhymes.
In a recent interview with Essence magazine, Alicia Keys finally decided to answer some of the questions that we have all had about her relationship with Swizz Beatz.
Alicia lets it be known in the interview that she feels like there is nothing wrong with the way she and her now husband fell in love.
“Everything was in order. We didn’t start seeing each other until after they had been separated for months………..I was very aware of all the false things that were being said about me. And it definitely hurt. But I was sure that if I engaged, it would become a back-and-forth like some sort of sick entertainment, which goes against everything I believe in and only would have made things worse…………Of course, people will believe what they want to believe. But I know the truth will shine through.“
So basically what she is saying is that she don’t have to wonder about sleeping with a broken heart because Mashonda pretty much has that covered.
