17-year-old rapper Chief Keef is being investigated by Chicago police in murder of a Chicago rival named Lil Jojo.
Chief Keef and Jojo were involved in a heated rivalry and cops are now left looking for answers in Jojo’s murder. Keef didn’t make it hard for cops to start looking in his direction for answers. In fact after the news broke that Jojo had been murdered, Keef took to his twitter account and posted a message that read “Its Sad Cuz Dat N**ga Jojo Wanted To Be Jus Like Us #LMAO.”
The rapper later claimed that his account was hacked O_0
The Sun-Times also reports that Chicago police officers were on the street Wednesday night looking for Coleman’s killer. Police are looking to see if his murder is connected to an ongoing conflict in Englewood between the Gangster Disciples and Black Disciples street gangs that has been playing out in a series of threats on social media sites, like Twitter.
According to a source, police are looking into whether Keef or any of his associates are connected to the gang conflict or Coleman’s murder.

I guess Drake forgot to tell Missy Elliott that he was planning on doing a tribute album to Aaliyah.
As you should already know, Aaliyah’s trademark sound was crafted by Missy and super producer Timbaland. Missy recently told a fan on Twitter that she had no idea that an Aaliyah tribute album was in the works.
I really don’t know what’s going on with this Aaliyah project, but I hope whoever is going to be involved would get it together. Because quite honestly, you can’t do a TRUE Aaliyah tribute album without having Timbaland and Missy involved.
All of the back and forth needs to stop..like yesterday!
Drake has released his newest effort at stalking living out his dreams to work with Aaliyah. The new record “Enough Said” was released earlier today and find’s Drake offering 16 bars of aggression over the mellow sounds of “Baby Girl”. Not sure why Drake is trying to sound so angry on this joint, but it doesn’t really work for me…Let me know what you think…
Earlier today it was announced that the son of Philadelphia Eagle’s head coach Andy Reid was found dead on the campus of Lehigh University.
Reid’s son Garrett was working with the team as a strength and conditioning coach during training camp. He was 29 years old and had recently rebounded from a past filled with drug charges. Garrett was incarcerated off and on between 2007 and 2009 for various drug charges.
A Lehigh University police official said there was no evidence of foul play.
The Eagles came together for a group prayer before practice today. Andy Reid was not present.
Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie said, “This news is heartbreaking for everyone in the Eagles family. Our hearts go out to Andy, his wife, Tammy, and their children.”
I almost forgot to post this….But a few days ago Webbie from Trill ENT. eulogized his fallen label mate Lil Phat. Webbie got in front of the congregation and well….Just watch for yourself….Remember this is the same man who was banned from 106 and Park for saying something inappropriate to Rocsi.
Beyonce took to her website to express her feelings about the death of legendary singer Donna Summer.
King Bey says she was a fan of Donna Summer and has even sampled one of her songs before.
DONNA SUMMER MADE MUSIC THAT MOVED ME BOTH EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY TO GET UP AND DANCE. YOU COULD ALWAYS HEAR THE DEEP PASSION IN HER VOICE. SHE WAS SO MUCH MORE THAN THE QUEEN OF DISCO SHE BECAME KNOWN FOR, SHE WAS AN HONEST AND GIFTED SINGER WITH FLAWLESS VOCAL TALENT. I’VE ALWAYS BEEN A HUGE FAN AND WAS HONORED TO SAMPLE ONE OF HER SONGS. SHE TOUCHED MANY GENERATIONS AND WILL BE SO SADLY MISSED.
MY LOVE GOES OUT TO HER FAMILY DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
Vh1 has announced that they will pay homage to the late great singer Whitney Houston at this year’s VH1 Divas show.
VH1 will pay tribute to Whitney Houston for its next installment of ”VH1 Divas,” Billboard has learned. The network will tape the performance in Los Angeles in December, with Houston’s longtime musical director Rickey Minor on board as executive producer. No artists have been confirmed for the tribute to Houston, a three-time performer on “Divas” in 1999, 2002 and 2003.
The tribute has already received the blessing of Houston’s family and her label partners at Sony. “We all felt that if any show could pay tribute to Whitney’s music, it would be ‘Divas,’” VH1 president Tom Calderone tells Billboard. “December felt like enough time where it wouldn’t be sad anymore, you’d want to celebrate her music.”
Even though they have not named the performers yet, I am willing to bet that this show is going to be something special.
You know Big Poppa was not going to let Hologram Tupac out do him. The Notorious Big made an appearance at the Coachella music festival. Rock group The Black Lips played homage to Biggie by bringing out a cardboard cut out of the fallen Brooklyn MC.
The crowd sang along as the group performed their rendition of “Hypnotized”
