Nas Escobar is featured in a new reality TV show entitled “Becoming.” The show will profile Nas as he prepares for his Rock The Bells concert earlier this summer.

This song is definitely one of my favorites on the CD. Hopefully the visuals will be just as good.

It’s hard to believe that Nasir Jones is about to release his 10th studio album.  On July 17th Nas will release “Life Is Good”.

Earlier today Def Jam released the official track listing for the project.

Nas released his single “Daughters” to a whole lot of acclaim from fans and industry folks. In the clip above Nas gives us a glimpse of what the visuals will look like for the video. His daughter Destiny Jones makes an appearance in the video as well.

Philly rapper Meek Mill recently tweeted about his experience with Nas in the studio.  It looks like the two have a collaboration in the works for Meek’s debut CD.

“Me & nas just put together a classic for #dreams&nightmares shit gone get reallll!”

In other Meek Mill news, the rapper announced earlier that he has signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation management company.

“Me coming up in this rap game, I was always an underground artist coming up by myself and making all of the moves by myself. And my manager – he’s just like me, we’ve been coming up in the streets by ourselves. So we just decided to partner up with Roc Nation and take things to another level.”

Nas is back with an anthem for fathers and daughters. He gives his own account of what happened recently when his 17-year-old daughter was caught wildin’ out on social networks.

Nas spits the truth on this record…As a man who is raising a child in today’s troubled times, this record definitely hit home.

VH1 aired the Behind The Music of Nas last night and I must say it was one of the best ones that I have seen in a while.
