Amber Rose is making her rounds in the media this week. She stopped by MTV’s Rap Fix to talk with Sway. In this clip she speaks about how Kanye West fans bullied her after the break up.
I have people throwing things at me in the street because they’re fans of Kanye. I’m just crying because I don’t deserve to be bullied like that. I’m a nice girl, I don’t bother anybody. I keep my mouth shut because I don’t want any trouble.
Keep your mouth shut, huh Amber…?!?!? Interesting choice of words…
Irv Gotti sat down with Sway over at MTV for a long discussion about his history in Hip Hop over the years. In this segment I.G. talks about the relationship or lack there of between Jay-Z and DMX. We all know abou this historic freestyle battle that the two had back in the day in a Bronx pool hall as well asthis one that appeared in the movie Backstage, but none of us could have possibly known that Jay and DMX were taking shots at each other on this song called ‘Time To Build‘ that also featured Mic Geronimo and Ja Rule.
MTV’s Sway talked to the Hip Hop’s young bloods Freddie Gibbs and Kendrick about the power of the Ghostwriter. Of course they didn’t drop any names on who they have written for, but the two MC’s do shed some light on what goes on behind the scenes of those studio walls.
Even though they didn’t tell who they write for they did talk about a track on Game’s latest album that gives a writers credit to Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole even though neither of them appear on the actual song.
“Yeah, we had some work to do with that,” Kendrick confirmed before explaining the process. “With writer’s credit, it can be anything from a melody, to just an idea thrown into the air. As long as they give you the credit for it, it doesn’t initially have to be the writing though. … I just threw a few ideas in the air.
