SHOWTIME SAYS…

The season finale of the hit TV1 show R & B Divas airs tonight.  Over the weekend I was able to get on the phone with three of the ladies from the show.  I spoke with KeKe Wyatt, Nicci Gilbert, and Monifah about the success of the show and how it has impacted their careers.  I also got a chance to ask the ladies what they thought about other reality shows and how women of color were being depicted.

SHOWTIME SAYS…

I sat down for a talk with Maino inside of my radio show Tha Trap Sunday night. Maino and I discussed his upcoming project.  Maino has a new single entitled “That Could Be Us” which he is promoting around the country.

Aside from music,  Maino and I discussed how we both have a thing  for reality TV shows like Basketball Wives, Love & Hip Hop and Real Housewives of Atlanta.   I HAD to ask the Brooklyn MC about THESE pictures from a few weeks ago that showed him and Olivia from Love and Hip Hop swapping spit with each other…Check the video to hear what he had to say!

SHOWTIME SAYS…

This is just a really fun behind the scenes look at the making of Beyonce’s ‘Party’ video featuring J. Cole. You can tell that this video was all about having a good time and bringing some fun to the cameras. I’m also going to assume that this was shot before she made her big announcement because I noticed how Bey kept that stomach covered up..LOL

Friday night I had the pleasure of hosting a party in Raleigh, NC at Bodi Nightclub with Yandy and Kimbella from Vh1′s Love and Hip Hop. The ladies were looking good too…  We partied all night with the good folks or Raleigh.  Shout out to Kimbella and #teampretty becauase they came all the way through.

SHOWTIME SAYS…

A few weeks ago Jeezy had the whole innanets Goin Craaaazy when he Ustreamed his Thug Motivation 101 performance at New York’s Highline Ballroom.

Here is a mini documentary of what went into putting the show together.  Check out the footage as Jeezy rehearses with his band and actually orchestrates the entire show.

It was a hell of a show, and I am definitely glad I got to see some of the behind the scenes footage.
